World Day to Combat AIDS 2007


The recently passed was held December 1 in the Dominican Republic, as in the rest of the world, World AIDS Day 2007. In the afternoon, representatives of SESPAS DIGECITSS, UNICEF, PSI, USAID, UNAIDS, led by Hermes and Manuel Meccariello of CERTV, VI presented the awards of National Songs Competition on HIV / AIDS, held as part of official activities this day, World AIDS Day 2007 in the Dominican Republic, and in the Dominican reggaeton duo Double D & Fanime participated as special guests, accompanied by DJ Zeux.

The first prize of $ 100.000 pesos, it was David Oliver Fernandez with the song "You choose." The second prize of $ 50,000 he got Julio Augusto with reggaetón "Give a Hand", while the third, $ 25,000 was at the hands of the Black Community with the song "Say No to AIDS." With the 11 songs finalists recorded a CD that will be used in educational activities with youth.
